School for Talents supports study programs in their efforts to recruit and retain excellent (prospective) students through programs that engage them in extracurricular activities that focus on advancing skill sets in their own discipline.
Application Requirements at a Glance
Funding
Each project can receive up to 25.000 EUR in funding over the course of one year (from 1 October 2024 until 30 September 2025).
Who can apply?
Study programs can submit project proposals on their own or join forces across faculties. In either case the corresponding dean of studies must support the application. For joint project proposals, please name the coordinating degree program and its dean.
Selection Criteria
The steering committee of the School for Talents will review and select all project proposals. The following criteria will be taken into account:
- A focus on research-based learning through innovative teaching and learning concepts
- In-depth engagement with and broadening of knowledge in one's own discipline
- Networking with peers and the scientific community
- Transferability through the development of best practice examples
Target group
Academically strong (prospective) Bachelor and Master students at the University of Stuttgart
