School for Talents gives outstanding students at the University of Stuttgart room to explore, experiment and create beyond the regular curriculum – and find out what truly engages them. Our offers are based on the philosophy of the Stuttgarter Weg – the University of Stuttgart's guiding concept of networked disciplines. It shapes how we teach: across disciplines, with freedom to try new things, and with the belief that nurturing today's bright minds is the best investment in a sustainable future.
1 Faculty Funding - Explore Your Own Field in Depth
Faculty projects in your own discipline open up new spaces for learning, thinking and experimenting — you dive into real questions through lab work and project-based learning: individual mentoring, conference visits, and early publication experience.
Currently 11 funded projects across all faculties.
2 Annual Program - Join an Interdisciplinary Team For a Year
You form a team with students from different disciplines and develop a project of your own within the annual theme – with 3 ECTS on top. 2026 theme: Welcome to the Polycene.
