Martin B Plenio is director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics at Ulm University, director of the Center of Quantum BioScience and Fellow of the Centre for Integrated Quantum Science and Technology and co-founder of NVision Imaging Technologies GmbH. He conducts fundamental research in quantum information theory and quantum biology as well as application oriented research in quantum science and technologies and their intersection with the life sciences. In QSENS his research team is exploring applications of spin qubits in diamond for sensing and imaging.  The Plenio team is contributing to the QMED project of QSENS.
