Problem-based Learning and Future Skills in the Spotlight: Symposium 2023

June 7, 2023

Our four student teams of the annual program 2022/23 presented their projects around the theme Systems Reloaded – New Perspectives on 25 May 2023.

Full House at Campus.Guest in Vaihingen

This year, the second School for Talents Symposium took place without any Covid-limitations! Friends and supporters of the program came to see what our participants worked on over the course of the year. The audience enjoyed four entertaining pitches that included solutions to problems in the logistics industry as well as university infrastructure, and new approaches to sustainability and participation by young people in political decision-making. Another highlight of the evening was a keynote by Professor Katharina Hölzle who perfectly summarized what future skills are and why we need to include them in educational curricula a lot more than we have done in the past. Professor Hölzle is the head of the Institute of Human Factors and Technology Management (IAT) at the University of Stuttgart and the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering (IAO) and it is absolutley worthwile to follow her topics online for more insights on the future of work and on how to build innovation ecosystems.
