Based on climatic simulations and by illustrating vulnerabilities for both focus areas, the issues of adaption to climate change will be strengthened when dealing with area entitlements with partially competing demands. For instance, ZURES will help to develop recommendations concerning the positioning and density of building structures. The importance of adaption to climate change in the continuation of the land use plan, and therefore an integration in the development plans, is being secured amongst other things by creating maps with planning advices.
