The Stuttgart Change Labs aim to develop research-based, interdisciplinary teaching as innovative teaching, strengthen the cooperation between science and society, promote innovative student projects with partners from society and support student involvement. The students are to become enthusiastic about science by experiencing that they are able to solve real problems, implement projects and at the same time be socially committed with the help of subject-related knowledge from their respective courses and the acquisition of interdisciplinary skills.  By working together in interdisciplinary and intercultural project teams, students acquire important core competencies for their future (professional) life and experience what it means to be self- and socially responsible in social contexts and in cooperation with (civil) social partners.
