On the 26th of October, Project POWERst was featured at the YES-Forum's Policy Event in Brussels. For an audience of professionals from youth and social work, members of the European Commission, representatives of European networks and young people, Milena Münchbach and Philipp Scheurich, both project assistants at the University of Stuttgart, led the presentations and explained how POWERst collates strategies to facilitate the access to higher education for future first-generation students and to improve the general study conditions for current ones.
Practitioners from the youth & social field could learn about and exchange on the latest developments of project POWERst and expressed their delight about the mission of project POWERst, stressing the importance of raising awareness for the issues of first-generation students and of providing support.
