The POWERst Summer School 2022 directly addresses first generation students from all social and scientific backgrounds. Within five days filled with empowerment workshops, inspiring talks on intersectionality and educational equity, as well as coachings on career choice prospects in the scientific field, students are to receive tailor-made support to help them reach their full potential and to support them in succesfully completing their study courses. At the same time the Summer School aims to provide students with the opportunity to utter wishes and to develop ideas for a more inclusive higher education, as well as to get to know and exchange with former and current international first generation students from all of the project’s partner universities.
